Carbon Dioxide Tanks

Carbon dioxide is stored in a cryogenic vessel. The storage area should be a location that is well ventilated as the chemical carbon dioxide is extremely hazardous to both the environment and the people in it. The storage area should be a flat surface with low traffic and away from any edges of elevated regions as fallen cylinders can cause damage to the vessel itself as well as property and people.

It is crucial that these tanks remain cool and dry and away from abrasive environments. Storing these cylinders next to heat can damage the tank and the product that is within. Carbon dioxide tanks should be stored standing on their base of lying on their side however standing on their base is most recommended.
