DataOnline donates computer equipment to Grenada police department
October 30, 2017:
The major provider of M2M solutions DataOnline handed over three new desktop computers and three printers for Union police station at Grenada to provide for the upgrading of facilities at the department. Donated hardware is aimed to assist with operations at the law enforcement agency and facilitate paperwork.
The contribution was initiated by DataOnline employee Ian J Cadet, who witnessed the predicament of Grenada police officers while visiting their police station, “I was struck by the outdated way the police reports were drawn up” – said Ian J Cadet. “Moreover, in order to duplicate written reports they had to spend 25 cent per each copy at a print shop. I felt compelled to do something and brought that information to Rob Barnacle, President of the DataOnline, who immediately made the decision to provide support to the law enforcement agency“.
The staff of the Grenada police station was deeply moved and gratified by the generosity of DataOnline, stating that the new equipment would become an invaluable asset in their daily activities.
